Legal

Terms &
Conditions

Last updated: 12 September 2026

Plain English first. These terms describe how consigning with VaultedAssetsX works, what I am responsible for, and what you are responsible for. Nothing here is meant to be a trap. If a clause is unclear, email vaultedassetsx@gmail.com and I'll explain it before you ship anything.

1Who these terms are between

These Terms & Conditions are an agreement between you (the "Consignor," "Seller," "Buyer," or "User," depending on what you're doing) and GOAT LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as VaultedAssetsX ("we," "us," or "I"), operating at vaultedassetsx.com.

Throughout this document "VaultedAssetsX" refers to GOAT LLC. Payments, invoices and any legal notice may be issued in either name.

By submitting cards to the consignment program, accepting an offer to sell cards outright, or using this website, you agree to these terms as written on the day you act. Please keep a copy for your records.

2What we accept

We accept trading cards and sealed product across every major sport, plus UFC and combat sports, WWE and wrestling, Pokémon, entertainment and film issues, and vintage.

Minimum value

Consigned cards must have an estimated market value of at least $10 per card, judged against recent sold comparables at the time of evaluation. Below that threshold, selling the lot to us outright will almost always net you more than a commission split.

Not accepted

Any visible flaw on a card we do accept will be disclosed to buyers at the point of sale. Cards that do not meet these requirements are returned to you at actual shipping cost.

3Sending cards in

Before shipping, send a list or photographs so we can agree on what is coming and roughly what it should do. You will receive a submission ID that stays with your cards through to sale.

You are responsible for your package until it reaches us and is opened. A delivery scan on its own does not transfer that responsibility. Shipping insurance is strongly recommended and is the only protection available for loss or damage in transit.

If a package arrives with significant exterior damage, we may photograph it and return it unopened rather than open it, so that any carrier claim you make is not compromised.

4Receipt, inspection and your manifest

Every consignment box is opened on camera, card by card. Within two business days of delivery you receive written confirmation and a full manifest of the contents with suggested prices.

If the manifest does not match what you sent, tell us before anything is listed and we will resolve it against the recording. Once you approve the manifest, it becomes the agreed record of your submission.

5How your cards are stored

Consigned cards are kept sleeved and top-loaded in a locked safe, stored separately from our own inventory and identified by your submission ID for as long as we hold them.

6Pricing and your floor

We recommend prices from recent sold comparables and population data. You may set a floor price on any card, and nothing sells below that floor without your express agreement — not online, not at a show, not in a private message.

Where you have not set a floor, we price at our reasonable discretion in line with the manifest. Final sale prices are set by what buyers will actually pay. We are not responsible for a card selling for less than you hoped.

7Where cards are sold

Consigned cards are sold direct — posted to Instagram and displayed in person at card shows where we hold a table, which currently means regional shows across the Southeast through the year. We also attend major national shows annually as a buyer and floor seller rather than as a booth holder, and high-value consigned cards may be offered there. Selling direct is deliberate: it removes marketplace and payment processor fees from the transaction.

We may also list a consigned card on a marketplace or live stream where we judge that it will realise a better price. Where a platform charges a fee on such a sale, that fee is disclosed on your payout statement.

8Commission and fees

Commission is calculated on the final sale price and covers photography, listing, promotion, handling and delivery to the buyer. There are no listing fees, monthly fees, or minimum volumes.

Optional services

Rates may change for future submissions. The rate in effect on the day your submission is logged is the rate that applies to it; a later change never applies retroactively to cards already with us.

9Payouts

Once a buyer's payment has cleared, your share is sent the next business day by whichever method you nominate: Zelle, Venmo, Cash App or Wire Transfer. Zelle, Venmo and Cash App payouts are sent at no cost to you. A Wire Transfer may carry a bank fee; where one applies it is deducted from the payout and itemized on your statement. Every payout is accompanied by a line-by-line statement showing what sold, where it sold, the price, and every fee deducted.

It is your responsibility to keep your payout details current and to report your own income to the relevant tax authority.

10Cards that don't sell

If a card has not sold within the agreed consignment window, you choose what happens next: reduce the price, keep it in the case for upcoming shows, or have it returned to you at actual shipping cost. We will not hold a card indefinitely without telling you.

You may request the return of unsold cards at any time. Cards already committed to a scheduled show may be returned after that show.

11Buying cards outright

We also buy cards outright. Appraisals are free and carry no obligation. Where an offer is made and accepted in writing, the sale is final once payment is sent and the cards are received as described.

Offers are made on the basis of the photographs and description you provide. If cards arrive materially different from what was described — undisclosed damage, altered cards, wrong items — we may revise the offer or return the cards at our cost.

12Your promises to us

By submitting cards, you confirm that you own them outright or have full authority to sell them, that they are not stolen, and that they are not counterfeit, reprinted, or altered in a way you have not disclosed.

You also agree not to bid on, or arrange for anyone else to bid on, your own consigned cards in any auction format in order to inflate the price. Doing so is unlawful in the United States. If it occurs, we may withhold payouts, cancel pending submissions, return your cards at your cost, and decline future business.

13Limits on our responsibility

We are not responsible for loss, damage, or delay occurring in transit before a package is received and opened at our facility, or after an unsold card is handed to a carrier for return. Insure your shipments.

We are not responsible for the market. Final prices reflect demand at the time of sale, and consigning is done at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with any submission is limited to the documented value of the cards in that submission as recorded on your manifest.

14Indemnity

You agree to hold GOAT LLC harmless from any loss, cost, or claim arising out of cards you submit that turn out not to be yours to sell, to be counterfeit or altered, or out of your breach of these terms or of any applicable law.

15Website use and electronic communication

Content on this site — text, photographs, and the VaultedAssetsX name and logo — belongs to us and may not be reproduced for commercial use without permission.

Emailing us or using this site counts as electronic communication, and you agree that notices, agreements and disclosures delivered to you by email or on this site satisfy any requirement that they be in writing.

16Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms at any time. The version published here is the current one, and the date at the top shows when it last changed. Changes never alter the commission rate or conditions applying to a submission already logged with us.

17Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute arising from them will be handled in the courts of that state. Nothing in this agreement creates a partnership, employment, or agency relationship between us. If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
